Tshepo Tshite clocked good quality 1:45.79 in the 800 m. In the 400 m hurdles titles for Leroux Hamman 49.70 and Wenda Nel 55.60. Zakithi Nene topped the 400 m in 45.54. Rushwahl Samaai leaped to 816 (+1.1) in long jump ahead of Jovan van Vuuren 802 (+1.4). Precious Mashele clocked at an altitude good 13:42.31 in the 5000 m. In the shot put duel Kyle Blignaut with 20.82 beat Jason Van Rooyen 20.60.
