For the first time since 2015, the men’s 400m hurdles will be held at the Allianz Memorial Van Damme on September 3. The record is iconic, 47.51 by Andre Phillips, 1988 Olympic gold medalist at the 400m hurdles. How fast will Karsten Warholm go? He will have raced a 400m flat by then as well, so think, fast, real fast!

On September 3, 2021, Karsten Warholm, 2021 Olympic gold medalist at the 400m hurdles and new world record holder (his 45.94 broke his 46.70 from July 11), will race the 400m hurdles at the Allianz Van Damme Memorial, one of the finest meets in all of the Diamond League.
EME notes that a fine field, with Allison Dos Santos, Kyron McMaster, Abderrahman Samba, Yasmani Copello and Rasmus Magi. Sad that they could not get Rai Benjamin.
