Last August, I watched LaMont Jacobs, the Italian sprinter, win the Olympic 100m title and help his Italian team win the Men’s 4x100m relays title in Tokyo from my ipad in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, as he dominted the field in Tokyo.
This coming winter, LaMont Jacobs will be competing in the indoor circuit, with the Italian Indoor championships and the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.

ROME (ITA): Double Olympic champion Lamont Jacobs is planning a full indoor season in 2022 including the Italian Indoor Championships in Ancona and the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade, informs FIDAL. “In winter we will do ten to twelve races considering heats and finals. We will return to Italy at the end of January after a month of training camp in Tenerife,” said his coach Paolo Camossi.
