Mondo Duplantis is the rock star of our sport. The 2020 Olympic champion, 2019 World Champ silver medalist, 2018 European champion, and he is just alot of fun to watch jump. Mondo loves what he does, and he works hard at it.
He will be opening this 2022 season in Karlsruhe. The Indoor Meeting, held in a sporthalle in Karlsruhe features about 4,500 German fans in a very intimate setting. I visited the meet in 2019 and truly enjoyed the event. A fun crowd, entertaining announcing and focused meet, plus German beer and pretzels are sold at the food stands!

KARLSRUHE (GER): Armand Duplantis will open his season at the Indoor Meeting in Karlsruhe on Friday against a field which includes three-time world medallist Piotr Lisek from Poland, 6.00m performer KC Lightfoot from the United States and Olympic fourth-placer Emmanouil Karalis from Greece. In the 3000m, Diamond League winner Berihu Aregawi from Ethiopia and last year’s winner Mohamed Katir from Spain are among the standout entrants.
