This was a huge weekend of records, and we want you to appreciate that Mr. Lillefosse’s NR is important not only to him and his fans, but to the sport.

UPPSALA (SWE, Feb 13): At the Nordic Match, Pal Haugen Lillefosse responded to new improvements from the USA and cleared 5.83 NR before three failures at 5.90. Other highlights include Marcus Thomsen winning the shot put with 20.74. Even Meinset won the 60m in 6.72, Mats Hauge won 1500m in 3:43.69, Thobias Montler the long jump with 7.93. Sara Kuivisto improved her own indoor 800m NR in 2:02.64 for the victory, Caroline Bonde Holm improved her 8-year-old pole vault Danish NR with a mark of 4.44m. Mette Graversgaard led a 1-2 for Denmark in the hurdles with Mathilde Heltbech, 8.08 and 8.09 while Claudia Payton of Sweden won the flat in 7.31 from Mathilde Kramer (Denmark) 7.36 and Helene Ronningen 7.37 and Ida Karstoft improved her own 200m NR with 23.22. Tilde Johansson improved long jump to 6.53 for victory. Ilari Manninen wins men 60h with 7.77, Carl Bengtström 46.77 over 400, Erik Martinsson 1:47.57 over 800. Sweden won the match in men and women categories.
