The big draw in Mt.SAC? Many are looking for Fred Kerley, who has already run 9.99 seconds for the 100 meters, 20.04 for the 200 meters and 44.47 for the 400 meters. He looks ready to roll!

Stahl, Allman and top sprints

WALNUT (USA): Sprints are promising unique races at the USATF Golden Games (WACT Gold), part of traditional MtSAC Relays on Saturday. In the 200 m, athletes from other events will clash. 100 m World champion Christian Coleman with 400 m hurdles Olympic silver holder Rai Benjamin and 400 m star Michael Norman. And with them, the surprise 100 m winner from Bermuda, Canadian Jerome Blake. But possibly the main favorite is Fred Kerley. Olympic winners are in discus men with Daniel Stahl and women with Valarie Allman. Gabriella Thomas will clash with Marie Jose Ta Lou in the women’s 200 m. In the 100 m sprints, NCAA champion Micah Williams with Ilias Garcia will be able to confirm his recent questionable sub-10 in women´s Teahna Daniels with Aleia Hobbs. Women hurdle Kendra Harrison, men Devon Allen. Katerini Stefanidi is in the pole vault, and Vashti Cunningham is in the high jump. Hurdlers Dalilah Muhammad with Shamier Little are in the flat 400 m, Bryce Hoppel and Raevyn Rogers in the 800 m men and women. World leader Brooke Andersen headlines the women’s hammer. Keturah Orji is in the women’s triple, Darrell Hill, and Nick Ponzio in the shot put. In women shot Raven Saunders, and the men’s hammer Rudy Winkler.
