Christian Taylor is an icon in the jumping world.

His best in the Triple jump is 18.21 meters and has a PB of 8.19 meters in the long jump. What many do not know is how quick that Mr.Taylor is over the 400 meters, with a PB of 45.07. Christian is pretty wicked fast over the 4 x400m relay.

Christian Taylor has competed in five World Athletics Outdoor Championships. Christian took gold in Daegu in 2011, and then, 4th in Moscow in 2013. Christian took golds in Beijing in 2015, London in 2017, and Daegu in 2019.

On the Olympic side, Christian Taylor took gold in London in 2012, and Rio in 2016. He was injured prior to Tokyo 2020 (held in July 2021), and has spent a year recovering from his Achilles surgery.

In 2022, Christian Taylor began at the Tom Jones Invitational, on 15 April 2022. He opened in the long jump, taking 25th place in 6.64 meters.

On May 12, 2022, Christian opened with his specialty, the Triple Jump, with a jump of 15.91 meters, taking sixth at the Puerto Rico Atheltics Classic.

Coming back well, Christian Taylor continued to improve, as he jumpste 16.11 meters yesterday, in Montreuil, France, at the Montreuil International Meeting, in the Stade de Granc Pechers, taking eighth.

Coming back from achilles surgery is a very challenging process. Christian loves the sport and loves to compete, and most of all, loves a good battle. We wish him well and hope to see him later this summer!
