One could not have planned this meet any better.

When this writer arrived, there were possibly 1000 fans in the stands, and two hours later, 5,500 were in stands that held six thousand. The crowd was loud and boisterous, loving the close races!

In the women’s 100m hurdles, non-sponsored Alaysha Johnson, ran 12.41, a big win for Johnson.

Both hurdle races were meet records.

Sha’Carri Richardson took second in the 100m to Aleia Hobbs, 10.83 to 10.85, and then, Sha’Carri ran 22.38 to win the 200 meters.
