This interview is with Chase Ealey, the gold medalist at the Oregon 22 World Athletics Champs, Day 2.
Chase Ealey became the first American woman to win the World Championships shot put ever. Chase did it with her first throw, hitting 20.49 meters. Lijao Gong of China, the defending champion, built up better throws, improving over five throws, and hit 20.39m, but no defense and Gong took the silver.
