Face it, Faith Kipyegon is the finest 1,500-meter runner, male or female of her generation!

Consider the facts!

From 2014 until 2022, Faith Kipyegon, in every championship that she has entered, has medaled. She has run world leaders from 800 meters to 1000 meters to 1,500 meters. I hope and pray that Faith, in her prime, gets a chance to run a mile because I believe she can put it out of reach, say 4:08-4:09, maybe faster!

Her ability to change gears over the last 400 meters is unmatched. She has the ability to run fast like Seb Coe in his prime, at a fast pace. She has the ability to come out of the slow pace and go into hyperspace, like Steve Ovett, and she has a mean last 350 meters, like Jake Wightman.

On top of that, Faith is just, well, wonderful. She is charming with the media. Her faith is unquestioning and she knows that she has a purpose for being on this planet, running 3 3/4 laps.

This was a quick interview by Faith Kipyegon with the media from EBU Radio, who did an amazing job with the mixed zone interviews
