Keely Klassic without Keely!

  1. Erriyon Knighton continues to impress; the 19-year-old is tough as nails and will continue to develop over the furlong.
  2. Fun to see three Borlees in a race in front of 30,000 Belgian fans.
  3. Jake Wightman is a classic 800m/1,500m runner, like Mr. Cram and Mr. Coe, and Mr. Ovett. I think he can run 1:42. no pressure, Jake!
  4. Grant Foster has one less AR than the late Steve Prefontaine. His 5,000m against silver medalist Jacob Krop was full of blood and guts.
  5. Ernest Obiena defeated Mondo Duplantis, and the world did not end. Mondo needs a little wake-up call, and he took it like the pro he is!
  6. Shericka Jackson won a nail-biter over Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, but do not fret; SAFP is not retiring or taking up the steeplechase, she had a sore toe.
  7. Ciara Mageean ran a PB and NR and showed that the Irish star is one tough athlete. She also upset Laura Muir!
  8. Yaroslava Mahuchikh went 2.05m! that is high!
  9. Kara Winger waited 12 years to set a new PB and AR in her javelin of 68.11m!
