This is the complete results of the 2022 Athletissima meeting, held in Lausanne, Switzerland, on August 25-26, 2022. This is the 11th of 13 regular Diamond League events in 2022.

The meeting was fantastic. I watched it on Peacock TV and enjoyed all events. The Men’s 200 meters was a lot of fun! The crowd was fantastic!

Keely Klassic without Keely!

My highlights:

  1. Noah Lyles ran the entire race as Michael Norman pushed him through the bend; then, it was goodbye, Mr. Norman.
  2. Jakob Ingebrigtsen still is not a happy camper that Jake Wightman got him in Eugene. Good for Jake and motivation for Jakob.
  3. Mondo Duplantis continues to explore the atmosphere of the planet Earth!
  4. Joe Kovacs is a damn beastmaster, love watching him, and Ryan Crouser goes at it, will wait until Zurich!
  5. Allia Hobbs does not get the respect that she deserves! She is on my interview list now.
  6. Femke Bol is a true Beastmaster, and she is tough, tough, tough!
  7. Tina Sutej is poised for greatness in the women’s pole vault; you heard it here first.
  8. Alicia Monson is another poised for greatness, do not discount the former Badger, not coached by Dathan Ritzenhein.
