Angelina is the daughter of the European Outdoor champ from 1990 and the Indoor Champ in 1996. Dragutin Topic, who this writer wrote about in 1996, who competed in 8 World Champs and six Olympic Games. Angelina is at the beginning of her career. We wish her much luck!

BELGRADE (SRB, Jan 25): European medalist Tina Sutej from Slovenia opened her indoor season in big style at the Serbia-Croatia-Slovenia match. She cleared 470 and 476 in third attempts. That means she equaled the early World lead (also the European lead) and also equaled her 2nd best ever. She also tried at the overall national record of 481. Her next meeting is at Golden Pole on Saturday in Roubaix. Another top display of shape by Serbian young star Angelina Topic with 194 clearance, a national senior record. She tried at 197 which would be tying for the 3rd best-ever U20 indoor position. The second was one year younger Croatian Jana Koscak (16) with 188. Aleksa Kijanovic equaled the Serbian 60 m record with a 6.66 win and his brother Bosko Kijanovic won the 400 m in 47.16. Shot putter Armin Sinancevic started the season with 19.52 win. Serbia won the match with 180 points ahead of Croatia 163 and Slovenia with 162.
