Sixteen Munich gold medalists to compete at 2023 European Indoor Champs, March 2-5, 2023 (Istanbul, Turkey)

The entry list for the Istanbul 2023 European Athletics Indoor Champs is now published, you can see them here, by the event. Seven Olympic Champions and sixteen European outdoor champions will be competing! RunBlogRun will have live coverage, on-site and remote, for your viewing pleasure!  You can find the athletes by name and season’s best performance right here.

18 Munich gold medalists

ISTANBUL (TUR): Final entries for the Istanbul 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships from 2-5 March have been published. The entry lists are highlighted by seven reigning Olympic champions from Tokyo 2020 as well as 18 individual gold medallists from the Munich 2022 European Athletics Championships. The seven Olympic champions due to compete are Marcell Jacobs (60m), Karsten Warholm (400m), Jakob Ingebrigtsen (1500/3000m), Miltiadis Tentoglou (long jump), and Pedro Pichardo (triple jump) on the men’s side and Malaika Mihambo (long jump) and Nafissatou Thiam (pentathlon) on the women’s side. The oldest athlete registered for the championships is Greek triple jumper Dimitrios Tsiamis (41y, 42d) and the youngest athlete registered is Andorran 400m runner Duna Vinals (16y, 267d).
