The Seiko Golden Grand Prix was held on 21 May 2023. The highlight of the meet was the Men’s 100 meters was Fred Kerley running a 9.88 and 9.91 in the heat and final. Fred has had a fantastic opening to his season so far, over 100m, 200m, and 400m. Zoe Hobbs, the Kiwi who broke 11 seconds earlier this season, ran 11.20 in the Women’s 100 meters.

The Seiko Golden Grand Prix is always an interesting meet to watch. There is, most years, several good races. This year’s big races were the Men’s and Women’s 100 meters.
