Irena Szewinska was one of the finest athletes to come out of Poland. Her medals at 100m, 200m, and 400 m are impressive but also are her WRs at all three distances. On top of that, Irena Szewinski fought hard to add women’s events to the sporting world in the Olympic paradigm.

The meet had a great series of fields. Erriyon Knighton ran well, and so did Pietro Arese, and good throws from Joe Kovacs. Alaysha Johnson hurdled well, and Darryl Neita ran a strong furlong. The season is on!
