CARDIFF (GBR, Dec 17): Olympic silver medalist and multiple European champion Laura Muir in her preparation for home World Indoors, achieved in the 3000 m at the Cardiff Met Uni Christmas Classic high quality 8:34.39. Her fifth-best career time at the distance (in and outdoor). Only 8 other Europeans were ever faster. Second Georgia Bell 8:49.63 big PB and third fresh European U20 CC Champion Innes Fitzgerald 9:06.26, indoor PB and British 3rd all-time U20 indoor.
