The Outdoor season is in full swing in much of the country, except when the track is covered with snow!
If you get to race today, try the 1600/800 or 3200/800 to shake things up a bit!
Take 30 minutes and cool down slowly.

Larry’s Deep Thoughts:
You have been working out all winter, and spring is in full swing. We have worked on hill work and fartlek workouts. The racing in the last ten weeks was about getting you to do some fast running.
The season will begin with relays, long races, and short races. Learn how to race under and above your distance dream. It will help you during the big season.
Try a 3k, 5k, or even the steeplechase; shake it up!
Take Evan Jager.
Evan began as a 1,500m runner. In 2012, he moved to the steeplechase; in 2016, he took Olympic silver; in 2017, he took WC bronze. Back in 2015, I was in the stands, screaming my lungs out in the Stade de France as Evan ran a near-perfect race, falling over the last hurdle, but getting up and running 8:00.45 AR was an amazing race. I screamed #F#CK as he fell, and the whole stadium implored Evan to get up, and he did immediately. Evan had given it all he had in that race in the Stade de France!
Evan Jager is one of the most gutty athletes I have ever witnessed. Tonight, he begins his journey to Paris with a steeplechase at Oxy College. We wish him the very best!
