One of the many gems in Central European track and field, the Gyulai Istvan Memorial is held in honor of former IAAF/World Athletics power broke, Istvan Gyulai, who championed European and Central European Athletics for most of his life.

The meet is a favorite of athletes from around the world, from the easy walk to the track from the meet hotel to the fanatical crowd and great performances that we see yearly!
