This is my daily chat with #RunBlogRun viewers and track fans on all things track & field!
This is Coffee with Larry for Thursday, August 1, 2024.
Coffee and tea, Scottie’s Eat Mor, the iconic breakfast spot, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, May 2024
Our topics!
1. New sponsor, our new partner, Omios, makes products that cool you down during hot weather.
Omius is the official cooling technology partner of RunBlogRun; find Omius at www.Omius.io
2. I have tried their hat, and it is simple to use. Wet the ‘diamonds’, which provide the cooling. The diamonds are the cooling cubes.
3. Wet the diamonds, and the hat cools you down for 90 minutes, as long as you move!

4. To learn more about our new partner, please go to www.Omios.IO !
5. The hat was used by 20k Racewalk champion in Paris, Brian Pintardo, Ecuador, until the last few steps of the race!

6. We suggest it as a great way to keep cool for coaches and athletes during your summer cross country training!
7. Race walks were today.
8. Brian Pintardo of Ecuador won with 1:18.55, Caio Bonfim, BRA, 1:19.09 and Alvaro Martin, ESP, 1:19.01, Massimo Stano, ITA, Tokyo champion, missed a medal by one second, after he slipped on sore ankle late in race! Terribly humid (94 percent), and about 84 degrees, the conditions were top.
