Our topics today;

1. Seb Coe is one of 7 candidates for the IOC president replacement of Thomas Bach. The Russians have said that they dislike Seb Coe running for President more than Thomas Bach as IOC President!

2. Diamond League raised prize money to $500k per meet. Their prize money is $9.275 million, and appearance money is $9 million a year. The Grand Slam track is spending $12 million on four meets, so Diamond League has upped its game due to competition. Competition is good!

3. The professional track and field is not here yet. We take a few steps and then walk back.

4. ATHLOS will host its first meeting on September 26. RunBlogRun will cover on-site and remotely. We will give the meet the credit it deserves.
