4. Steve Jones won the 1984 and 1985 Chicago Marathon, setting WR in the 1984 race (he fell in 1983, injured his ankle).

We will be reaching out to several other experts to provide a complete picture on the record. As a journalistic site on running, we must look at both sides of any photograph. The WR in Chicago was insane, as I called it, but to appreciate it, we must know if it is legitimate and with the amount of doping in Kenya, questions are only natural.
