This is my daily chat with #RunBlogRun viewers and track fans on track & field!

Today is Tuesday, April 8, 2025, part 1 and part 2.
Coffee with Larry is sponsored by our friends at OMIUS, the cooling technology company, which you can find at www.OMIUS.IO.
If you are a coach or an elite athlete, send me a note at [email protected], and I will send you an OMIUS sample. The OMIUS folks would like some comments on their product!

Special thanks to PACE Events, managers of #DubaiMarathon, and the #RasAlKhaimahHalfMarathon (thanks to Peter Connerton and Alan Ewan).

Special thanks to Global Athletics & Marketing. Mark Wetmore, their co-founder and CEO, and his team of merry sports pranksters put on the #NBIndoorGP at the #TRACKatNewBalance, where I have gone for 28 of the past 30 years!

Finally, please support #BrooksRunning! Brooks has sponsored my projects since 1990 under Tom Carmody and Helen Rockey! Jim Weber kept the fire burning with Dave Larson, Jesse Williams, Dan Sheridan, Amanda Reiss, Garrett Heath, and Jillian Zech for their continued support. Brooks makes tremendous running shoes. I love the Glycerin Max, Cascadia GTX 16, and Brooks Ghost Max. To see Brook’s footwear and apparel, please go to www.brooksrunning.com!

Out topics today:
1. The Grand Slam Track debut, what they did right, and where they can improve! Remember, Grand Slam Track will evolve
, and we will have less than 25 days to wait for the next event. The athletes were happy with the payday, that is for sure!

2. Essentially, Sports, which provides some good stories, also does a lot of clickbait, which I hope that they change.

3. The European Indoor Champs were spectacular; I loved it.

4. This weekend, April 12 and 13, is the European Athletics Road Racing Championships.

5. We will be covering the European Road Champs.

This is part 1 (25 minutes), and due to a technical challenge, part 2 (15 minutes) was divided into two parts.
Welcome to Coffee with Larry.
