Flosports made the investment, and they are showcasing their desire to grow the audience of the Diamond League in North America. We first featured Ryan Fenton in June 2024 and then featured Ryan last week on our program,  #SocialingtheDistance. This is the FloSports release on the season and what they want to do in 2025.

FloSports Wanda Diamond League Coverage Brings Unprecedented Access To the World’s Top Athletes Exclusively on FloTrack Starting April 26

New Watch-Along Show Hosted by Olympic Medalists, Multiple Streams Including Stand-Alone Field Event Channels, Round-the-Clock Social Coverage, and More to Reward Fans This Season

AUSTIN, TX — (April 18, 2025) — FloSports will debut its coverage of the Wanda Diamond League, delivering Track & Field fans in the U.S. comprehensive content and innovative viewing experiences exclusively on FloTrack starting on April 26. The bold new era of Track & Field coverage will combine high-quality production, never-before-seen content formats, and unmatched access across platforms.

The coverage begins in Xiamen China where the 2023 and 2024 Xiamen winner, Christian Coleman (USA), will be challenged by the 200m Olympic Champion, Letsile Tebogo (Botswana), four-time World Champion and second fastest 200 runner in history, Shericka Jackson (JAM) makes a much-anticipated appearance and the women’s Discus Throw sees the two top-ranked competitors in the world –  Valarie Allman (USA), who recently broke the American Record, and Feng Bin (CHN).

The competition is also headlined by Paris Olympic Champions Grant Halloway (USA) in the 110m hurdles, Faith Kipyegon (KEN) in the 1000m, Yaroslava Mahuchikh (UKR) in the high jump and Mondo Duplantis (SWE), who set the first of his three pole vault world records in 2024 at Xiamen one year ago.

This year, Wanda Diamond League meetings will pay out a total of $9.24 million USD in prize money, the highest total pot in the series’ history.

“We’re not just covering the Wanda Diamond League events—we’re building an entire world around them,” said Ryan Fenton, GM of FloTrack. “From multiple viewing options to new athlete-driven shows, we’re all-in on the sport and its community.”

Here’s what fans can expect:

  • Multi-Stream Viewing – For the first time ever, fans will have access to 4-5 dedicated event streams for every Wanda Diamond League event—including the Diamond League world feed featuring top international talent, Hannah England, Chris Dennis, Tim Hutchings, and Steve Cram. Three additional feeds will be entirely devoted to field events, giving long-overlooked disciplines their rightful spotlight. This year’s coverage will also include two special “City Events” in the city streets featuring the men’s Pole Vault in Lausanne, Switzerland and the women’s Pole Vault in Stockholm, Sweden, bringing an exclusive experience to fans.

  • Debut of ‘The Athlete’s Lounge’ – A first of its kind for Track & Field, this additional viewing experience, “The Athlete’s Lounge”, features Olympic legends Matthew ‘Centro’ Centrowitz Jr., Trey Hardee, English Gardner, and others throughout the season, joined by FloTrack personalities Demitra Carter and Nia Gibson, offering real-time insight, storytelling, and personality-packed commentary throughout the event. “The Athlete’s Lounge” will make its debut on May 16th with the Doha Diamond League and stream for 10 Diamond League broadcasts in 2025.

FloTrack’s Johnny Pace and other team members will also bring their talents to Wanda Diamond League events.

  • Behind-the-Scenes Content & Highlights – FloTrack will provide comprehensive editorial and social content throughout the season, giving fans unmatched insights and access. Social programming will include a free pre- and post-event show from the “Athlete’s Lounge”, distribution of key moments from every event in near real-time, extensive coverage of top storylines and standings on the road to the Wanda Diamond League Finals in Zurich in August.

  • Diamond League Fantasy Game – Track & Field fans will get to build their ultimate teams in an innovative new fantasy game developed for the 2025 Wanda Diamond League season. The game will offer fans the opportunity to select athletes prior to the start of each Wanda Diamond League event, for the chance to earn top scores and leaderboard bragging rights.
