2. Connor Mantz set the American record of the marathon with his 2:04:43 win, taking down Khalid Khannouchi’s 23 year old AR of 2:05:38!

3. Natosha Rogers set a second marathon PB as she took the top American position (6th) in 2:23.38, after her PB last February in the Nagoya Marathon.

3. Connor Mantz broke the 23-year-old American record, held by Khalid Khannouchi since 2002, of 2:05:38, then the world record! Khalid won Chicago in 1997, 1999, 2000, and 2002!
