2. Madrid Meeting Indoor, held February 6, 2026, was a celebration of Spanish Athletics, European Athletics, and the World Indoor tour. Held at the calle de gallur, the banked 200m track, surrounded by 2500 seats, had some fun performances, from Enrique Llopis 7.45 NR, Jordan Geist’s monster 22.04m shot win, a huge battle at the women’s 1,500 meters, surprising depth in B women’s 800 meters, and Mohammed Attaoui’s ER at 1000 meters of 2:14.52.

3. The Czech Indoor Meeting, held in Ostrava, Czechia, on 3 February, had 10 Meet records, five world leaders, and a world U20 best! Attila Molnar’s move to break Thomas Schonlebe’s thirty-eight year old 400 indoor record with Molnar’s 45.01 should be worshiped for what it is-spectacular! Mattia Furlani goes 8.30m in his defeat of Miltiadis Tentoglou. Lieke Klaver took WL in 400m in 51.00.

4. Femke Bol’s 1:59.07 at Metz Indoor gave Femke the Dutch short track record! Where can Femke go this year? Femke will not be racing the 800 meters at the World Indoor.
