This is Episode 587, of #CoffeewithLarry, for March 17, 2026.
This is my daily chat with #RunBlogRun viewers and track fans on all things track & field! We go LIVE Monday-Saturday, at 10 Am Central time in the U.S.A. Email me at [email protected]!
Our topics:
1. The NIN was four well-run days of indoor track and field at the NIKE Track & Field Center at The Armory.

2. The Armory has a history of its very own. This sanctuary of sport hosts at least 117 track and field events a year, plus a couple of weeks of indoor marathons!

3. The Nike Indoor Nationals had over 8,000 applicants in 2026, and 5,600 were accepted to run, jump, and throw over the four days of March 12-15, 2026.

4. The United Airlines NYC Half Marathon had 30,000 plus runners and walkers on the streets of New York, around the same time that high school track athletes were competing on day 4 of the NIKE Indoor Nationals, just 8.1 miles away! Hellen Obiri won the women’s half in 1:06.33 NCR and Adriaan Wildschutt became first South African to win the half, winning the men’s race in 59:30 with a wicked kick.

5. We are less than one week from the World Indoor Championships, in Torun, Poland, which will be held from March 20-22, 2026.
See you tomorrow on Coffee with Larry!
