- Jack Fultz won in 1976 in terribly hot conditions. This is the fiftieth anniversary of his win!

Jack Fultz ran 2:20:19 in such ungodly weather, which was amazing. At Boston 1978, Jack Fultz would run his lifetime PB of 2:11.17.
- Bob Hall, the first Boston Wheelchair champ, passed away this past week. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
