LIMASSOL (GRE, May 29): Top two Greek athletics stars highlighted the EKO Cyprus International Meeting (WACT Bronze). First-time double Olympic winner Miltiadis Tentoglou, in his last attempt, achieved 849 (-0.6), which is a World lead. He had in series also 804, 814, 829, and 819. Emmanouil Karalis started to jump in pole vault when others already finished, he cleared 565 in his second attempt, and then in his first 585 and 600. Twice he tried at 615 and then ended the competition. Home star Milan Trajkovic won the 110 m hurdles in 13.54 (+0.3), and young home star Iosif Kesidis won the hammer with 77.84 NR. Excellent PB 682 (+0.8) for Ukrainian Iryna Budzinska in the long jump. US Rayniah Jones won the hurdles 12.99 (0.0) and Canadian Sade McCreath the 100 m in 11.31 (0.0). Home high jump win for Elena Kulichenko 189. Henri Sai from Estonia won the 200 m in 20.73 (0.0) and Romanian Mihai Dringo 46.01 in the 400 m.
