  • Southern California’s premier fall marathon returns for its 42nd edition, with a record, sold-out field of more than 28,000 participants expected across race weekend.

  • The marathon course offers a fast, scenic tour of Long Beach, taking runners past the Queen Mary, along the Pacific Ocean and through Belmont Shore, Marine Stadium and Cal State Long Beach before finishing downtown on Shoreline Drive.

  • The event draws runners from across the country and around the world, while thousands of spectators, volunteers, neighborhood groups and local businesses help turn marathon weekend into one of the city’s largest annual community events.

  • Race weekend extends beyond Sunday’s marathon and half marathon, with the Health & Fitness Expo at the Long Beach Convention Center, the Aquarium of the Pacific 5K on Saturday and the Finish Line Festival at Marina Green.

  • 2XU returns for its second year as title partner, with race-week experiences focused on preparation, performance and recovery, including Friday’s Prepare to Perform session, Saturday’s Coffee + Kilometers shakeout run and Sunday’s Recovery Lounge.

  • Full race weekend information is available at RunLongBeach.com.
