Editor’s note: I have to admit that the European Indoors are one of my favorite events on the calendar. Speaking with the fans, athletes, coaches, and European media is a big part of it. The track’s proximity and visiting Europe are two other factors. The meets tend to be in mid-sized cities, and travel is cheaper than going to Eugene, Oregon, or one of the big US marathons. I encourage you to check Valencia out!
