#CoffeewithLarry, Episode 798, October 13, 2025, Chicago Marathon 2025 had two Compelling races!

Coffee with Larry ventured to Chicago, Illinois last week, powered by #NIKERunning.
Our topics:
1. The Men’s and Women’s elite races were compelling. Jakob Kiplimo dominated the men’s race, winning in 2:02:43 PB, and Hawi Feysa ran 2:14:56 PB !

2. Top Americans, Connor Mantz finished 4th in 2:04:43 PB, and Natosha Rogers finished 6th in 2:23:28 PB.

3. Connor Mantz broke the 23-year-old American record, held by Khalid Khannouchi since 2002, of 2:05:38, then the world record! Khalid won Chicago in 1997, 1999, 2000, and 2002!
4. In two weeks, we are off to 2025 NYC Marathon. We will be working with a new partner, FurnishedQuarters.com, more on that later!
5. NXN has regionals on November 9 and November 22, with finals on December 6, 2025! Check out www.NIKECrossNationals.com or https://nxn.runnerspace.com/ !
6. Brooks XC Nationals, presented by #FleetFeet, has announced a streaming deal with #FloTrack, details coming, Regionals are November 29 and December 6, with Nationals on December 14! Remember, 20 athletes will get #GoldenTickets! https://www.fleetfeet.com/cross-country-championship !
7. #RunBlogRun will be working with Pace Events on their two events, #DubaiMarathon, to be held on February 1, 2026, www.dubaimarathon.org . The #RAKHalfMarathon will be held on February 14, 2026, www.RaKHalfMarathon.com !
