Welcome to #CoffeewithLarry, Episode 815, for Monday, November 10, 2025.
This is my daily chat with #RunBlogRun viewers and track fans on all things track & field!

2. NXR Heartland (November 9, 2025), in Yankton Trail Park, South Dakota.
3. Congrats to SFL Patriots (Sioux Falls, SD) with 134 points for the win on the Boys Champ race. Lincoln Pius X ( Lincoln, Nebraska), with 209 points, Wayzata XC club was in third place with 220 points. Winner on Boys was Sean Fries (Tonka H) in 14:55.0.
4. The girls’ Elite race at NXR Heartland was won by Wayzata XC, with 50 points. Wayzata is from Plymouth, Minnesota. In second, Chargers RC with 87 points, the Chargers are from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Winner was Maddie Gullickson, 16:49.5.

7. The NJCAA XC Champs, held in Iowa on Saturday, showed how incredible cross country could be in the Winter Olympics! Seb Coe is pushing on with building cross-country into the Winter Olympics, hoping to begin in 2030.

10. NYC Marathon had 59,662 starters and 59,226 finishers, a new World record for starters and finishers.

11. Thinking of Bill Rodgers (1976, 1977, 1978, 1979) and Grete Waitz (1978-1986), who helped establish the NYC Marathon.
12. Enjoyed speaking with Nnenna Lynch and George Hirsch at the NYC Marathon! Nnenna was the Chair of NYRR, and George Hirsch was the founding publisher of #TheRunnerMagazine and long-time publisher of #RunnersWorld! George is now chairman emeritus of #NYRR.
