Episode 8
Waleed Suliman is a middle distance runner who competes for the Brooks Beasts Track Club and is coached by Danny Mackey and the team at Brooks Beasts TC.
Waleed was a fun interview. We spoke about his high school running, and moving from soccer to track and field. Waleed has some serious PBs and ran many of them in 2025.
800m PB of 1:47:00 from 2021 (he will break that in 2026!). Waleed has a PB of 3:52.4 for the road mile (Fifth Avenue Mile, September 2025), and PB of 3:33.82 from 2024). Waleed ran a 3:51.89 mile in August 2024. Waleed’s 3,000m PB of 7:39.89, came on 8 February 2025, at the famed Boston University track!
How many middle distance runners celebrate the end of the season by running a 50k trail run? Well, Waleed did! Enjoy the interview!
