Boston, Mass. – Noah Lyles, the reigning Olympic champion at in the men’s 100m, is set to return to the 2026 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, organizers announced today.
Tickets for the event at the TRACK at new balance on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, which forms part of the World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold, are now on sale at www.nbindoorgrandprix.com or by calling 1-877-849-8722.
The reigning Olympic champion at 100m, Noah Lyles is returning to Boston for his eighth competition at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix coming off of a 2025 campaign that began with his fourth-consecutive victory here at 60m and ended with winning his fourth-straight world title at 200m, as well as winning bronze in the 100m and anchoring the United States to gold in the 4x100m relay at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
In an exciting clash of athletes stepping up and down in distance, the men’s 2000m will be headlined by 2022 World Athletics Champion at 1500m Jake Wightman and double Olympic bronze medalist Grant Fisher. Having missed major championships in 2023 and 2024 due to injuries, Wightman roared back to full form this past season, winning the silver medal over 1500m at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo. Fisher, one of the most successful distance runners in American history, won bronze medals at both 5000m and 10,000m at the Olympic Games in Paris and set world records last year at both 3000m indoors and 5000m indoors.
Also returning to the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix will be Elle St. Pierre, the US record-holder at 3000m. St. Pierre, a native of nearby Vermont, won gold at the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow in a national record of 8:20.87. She also won the silver medal over the same distance at the 2022 World Athletics Indoor Championships and finished eighth in the final of the 1500m at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris before taking the majority of the 2025 season off for maternity leave.
The 2026 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix will be shown live on NBC from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, Jan. 24 and is a founding member of the World Athletics Indoor Tour. The series of the best indoor athletics events around the world awards overall tour winners $10,000 and a guaranteed spot at the 2026 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Kujawy Pomorze, Poland.
Now in its 31st year, the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix has played host to nine world records and 16 American records.
