The reigning Olympic champion at 100m, Noah Lyles is returning to Boston for his eighth competition at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix coming off of a 2025 campaign that began with his fourth-consecutive victory here at 60m and ended with winning his fourth-straight world title at 200m, as well as winning bronze in the 100m and anchoring the United States to gold in the 4x100m relay at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

In an exciting clash of athletes stepping up and down in distance, the men’s 2000m will be headlined by 2022 World Athletics Champion at 1500m Jake Wightman and double Olympic bronze medalist Grant Fisher. Having missed major championships in 2023 and 2024 due to injuries, Wightman roared back to full form this past season, winning the silver medal over 1500m at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo. Fisher, one of the most successful distance runners in American history, won bronze medals at both 5000m and 10,000m at the Olympic Games in Paris and set world records last year at both 3000m indoors and 5000m indoors.
