Update April 16, 2017.

On Monday, April 17, 2017, Jordan Hasay will debut at the marathon distance. She is choosing to run the most famous marathon in the world, the Boston Marathon, for her debut. Jordan Hasay is fit, confident and focused. We wish her the very best of luck in her debut.

Here is a piece I wrote two weeks ago, plus links to two important stories on Jordan Hasay that we did this spring!

Has Jordan Hasay found the event she was built to run? We will just have to wait and see, but we know it will be an exciting race!

April 1, 2017. Prague, Czech Republic. Finishing sixth in the Sportisimo Prague Half Marathon this morning, Jordan Hasay continues her fine build towards the 2017 Boston Marathon and her much anticipated marathon debut. Jordan ran 1:07:55 in Prague on Saturday morning, less than three weeks from the marathon.

This puts her equal to number three on the All-time American list for half marathon.

Remember, on January 15, Jordan Hasay had taken third in the Aramco Houston Half marathon in 1:08:40, which was considered a huge breakthrough for the former Oregon Duck and high school star.

On March 11, Jordan Hasay won the USA 15k title, held in conjunction with the Gate Rive 15k, in 49:28. Her racing ability, her fitness and her foccus continue to improve as she builds to her debut over 26.2 miles.

Under the watchful eye of coach Alberto Salazar, Jordan Hasay continues to develop and the move to the marathon, discussed and implemented over the past year, seems to be a great direction for Jordan Hasay as she focused on her debut on April 18, 2017, at the 2017 Boston Marathon. Salazar’s marathon experiences as an elite athlete, and his coaching over the same distance for Mo Farah and Galen Rupp all add to the confidence that Jordan Hasay has in her coach-athlete relationship.

To learn more about Jordan Hasay, we suggest that you read the following two articles:
