This was a fun presser, held at the Sam Adams Brewery, a couple days before the 2017 BAA Boston Marathon. Desi Linden wanted to win the race, but, it just was not her day as she once again finished in the top five, an amazing result.
We salute Desi Linden, for her guts, her focus on training and her ability to live a life as well as train for some of the toughest marathons in the world. As Desi Linden said so well after the race, the US runners put more on the podium each year. A win by Americans will come again soon.
