Laura Muir 3k at British Champs

BIRMINGHAM (GBR): Double European indoor champion Laura Muir has been confirmed to run at the British Athletics Indoor Championships on February 17-18. The 1500m and 3000m winner from Belgrade 2017 will seek her first national indoor title at the longer distance in her bid for a World Indoors berth. “Training has been going really over the longer distances and the 3000m on February 17th will form part of my preparations for the upcoming World Indoor Championships in the same venue a couple of weeks later,” said Muir. Fellow Scots Eilish McColgan and Steph Twell have also accepted invitations, it was announced by the organisers.
