INSPIRED BY THE SUNRISE &#8211; The Under Armour HOVR Infinite is here!

We at RunBlogRun have been telling you that what UA was launching in 2019 would be exciting! Our partner, Running Product Reviews, reviewed the HOVR Sonic in Spring 2018. In two short videos, produced by our partners at the Shoe Addicts in early December 2018, we reminded you once again. Well, the Under Armour HOVR Infinite is here, having launched on Friday, February 1, 2019. INSPIRED BY THE SUNRISE – The Under Armour HOVR Infinite launched February 1, 2019.

The HOVR Infinite is the latest drop from Under Armour and one of the styles in the 2019 Collection of HOVR footwear, designed for every type of runner.

Featuring shades of pink, orange, yellow, and black, the first colorway of the HOVR Infinite is inspired by the sunrise–nature’s reward for the many runners who finish their workout in the early morning hours, fitting it in where they can around a busy lifestyle.

According to Running USA’s 2018 National Runner Survey, the majority of runners run throughout the year and at least 4 times a week.* This means runners are juggling four days of training between careers, family, school and more, leading them to find time to train when they can, at the beginning of their day. The study showed that 58% of runners preferred to run in the early morning, far more than the daytime or evening, combined.

Under Armour has collaborated with Stance, makers of inspired performance socks to create a custom running sock designed specifically to pair with the HOVR Infinite – a seamless (pun intended) sock and footwear design offering. The socks offer strategic cushioning in the forefoot, toes, heel, ankle, and around the fifth metatarsal, for an especially smooth ride. To keep feet cool and dry, they feature a custom blend of fusion fibers that maximize durability. A mosaic of seamless mesh panels further enhance breathability and thermoregulation, while built-in arch support gives exceptional comfort and protection for long distances.

For those who love their morning miles and crush the pavement to start their day, the HOVR Infinite will go the distance with you.

Under Armour set out to design and build an ultra-performance shoe that would meet the demands and needs of goal oriented runners. The HOVR Infinite is a neutral cushioned, plush balanced trainer, featuring more HOVR to support runners through an infinite amount of miles.

Also launching tomorrow is the HOVR Guardian, HOVR Sonic 2, and HOVR Phantom SE – all part of the 2019 HOVR Suite.

All shoes in the 2019 HOVR Suite feature an embedded sensor in the midsole that digitally connects seamlessly to the MapMyRunâ„¢ app. The digitally connected shoes can track, analyze, and store detailed running metrics to inform ways to improve performance.
