STOCKHOLM (SWE): Karsten Warholm could threaten the world record again at the Wanda Diamond League Bauhaus Galan in Stockholm on Sunday. The Norwegian is joined by other prominent Scandinavians, although Armand Duplantis and Daniel Stahl will be without any home spectator support due to virus restrictions. Timothy Cheruiyot takes on Jakob Ingebrigtsen in one of two top 1500m fields. Both long jumps will be staged in new format when last round will decide about the winner. All participants including managers, coaches, physios and visiting media will be tested upon arrival.

Men
200m: World fourth-placer Adam Gemili hopes for better form, with Hortelano and Wicki other European challengers.
400m: Davide Re is favourite on this season’s form following his 45.31.
800m: World champion Donavan Brazier will be favourite as Amel Tuka and Ferguson Cheruiyot seek to show better form after blips in Monaco, with Marco Arop in after his Monaco low-1:44. Young Briton Burgin makes DL debut.

1500m: Timothy Cheruiyot and Jakob Ingebrigtsen return after their superquick times in Monaco. Filip Ingebrigtsen and Charlie Da’Vall Grice are also in the field.

400m hurdles: All eyes will be on whether Karsten Warholm can go even quicker than his 47.10 opener. The next fastest in the field this season is French Wilfried Happio.

Long jump: Former world bronze medallist Ruswahl Samaai leads the way with Kristian Pulli looking to challenge after his 8.27 in June. But home star Thobias Montler looks to be the main favorite.

Discus: World champion Daniel Stahl looks for his 12th win in a row this year as he takes on former world winner Andrius Gudzius, with Simon Peterssen also keeping up his rivalry with his compatriot.

100m: Ajla Del Ponte looks to continue in winning form after her Monaco top position, with Marie Josee Ta Lou looking to get closer this time. Rebekka Haase is another challenger.
400m: World fourth-placer Wadeline Jonathas starts favourite with Lieke Klaver to be possible challenger.
800m: World silver medallist Raevyn Rogers with the improving Jemma Reekie, Selina Buchel and Hedda Hynne already under two minutes this season. But Yarigo won in Bydgoszcz on Wednesday.

1500m: World 5000m champion Hellen Obiri steps down after her win in Monaco and takes on European champion Laura Muir. Recent Irish 800m record-setter Ciara Mageean and Laura Weightman will be looking to go under four minutes for the first time. Winny Chebet is another contender.
100m hurdles: Luminosa Bogliolo faces world heptathlon champion Katarina Johnson-Thompson and Lotta Harala.
400m hurdles: Former world champion Zuzana Hejnova and European champion Lea Sprunger are included but the favourite is new star Femke Bol.
