Laura Muir had an excellent season in a strange season, mottled with a pandemic. In 2020, she had three outdoor 1,500m races this season, and her final 1,500m (3;57.40) she set the WL in 2020! Laura Muir races 5 times outdoors at 800m, with the slowest 800m at 2:00.49.
This season has been crazy, and in such a season, Laura Muir had an amazing time.

GLASGOW (GBR): Laura Muir has said breaking the four minute-barrier for 1500m three times over the summer season has helped her confidence ahead of the 2021 season, informs AW. “My last year in 2019 was so disrupted with injury. I missed a lot of racing that summer and there wasn’t really the consistency you want in training or racing. So to come out this season and run three 1500m runs and all be sub-four minutes and all really strong and winners, it was like, ‘okay, this is good’. It has helped my confidence a lot. I lost quite a bit of confidence last year with injury and even though I performed well in Doha and clawed it back a bit, it was hard. So it has done me a lot of good being able to race this year, and race well,” she said.
