On Feb 13, 2021. Olli Hoare put it all together, winning the 1,500m in 3:32.35, a new Aussie indoor mile record.

This is the inteview that we did with Ollie in October 2020. Ollie said then that Dathan was getting him into shape.

And that he did!

Oliver (Olli) Hoare is an Australian professional runner and part of the On Athletics Club, coached by Dathan Ritzenhein. From competitive swimming to running, Olli’s athleticism led him to a spot on the University of Wisconsin track & field team.

He was the 1500m NCAA Champion in 2018 and an 8 time All-American, and 9 time Big Ten Champion over cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field.

We enjoyed inteviewing Olli. We also like his Badger connection. He was enthusiastic about his new club On Athletic Club. We wish him the best of luck and look forward to seeing him compete in 2021.
