Americans in Oslo, (July 1, 2021)

Well, if we can do Brits in an event, I figured that it was time to post Americans in an event. So, here it goes. Let me know if I miss anyone!

The Oslo DL has a long history with top Americans, especially distance events and the pole vault!

A week past Kate’s gutty race in Eugene, Oregon at the US Olympic Trials, where she place 4th, Kate put together her first victory at 800m in the Diamond League (please note that she has not been racing 800m for several years). Kate noted the following to media:

“I really wasn’t sure what to expect tonight so to get such a huge PB I am really happy. I only flew here two days ago after three big races at the US trials and the big disappointment of not making the team.

It is great to be her with a crowd here as well . Tonight proved that I am doing things right with my new coach and my new training set up. Things are paying off.”
