Allyson Felix is a phenomenon. She was a super star in high school in
the golden state of California, and after high school, Allyson went pro.
Her first World Championship appearance was in 2003, and since then,
she has made her name known across the globe.
In 2010, Allyson won her first US title at 100 meters! She was surprised
and elated at the victory. Racing 100 meters to 400 meters, and both
relays, Allyson is the kind of athlete a college coach could only dream about.
Quite popular on the global sports stage, Allyson switched sponsorships this
year, going from adidas to Nike.
In her IAAF diary, Allyson writes about competing at this weekends’ AVIVA London
Grand Prix on August 14-15.

Next up for Felix, 200m/400m double in London – IAAF Online Diaries
After collecting victories in Paris and Stockholm,
Samsung Diamond League Ambassador Allyson Felix is now setting her sights on her 200m and 400m double at the Aviva London Grand Prix this weekend.
“Hello!
“I have only
been in Europe for about a week now. The way my schedule is set up and
because there are no major championships our group is just moving meet
to meet since we compete each weekend. It has definitely gotten easier
for me to leave for long trips over the years. Now I know what to bring
and everything that I need. I keep in touch with family and friends
video chatting with skype and ichat.
“I had a good
time in Stockholm, I always enjoy running in Sweden. I felt I didn’t
quite execute my race that way I would have hoped so I’m looking
forward to improving in my next race. Next up I will be running in
London in the 200m and 400m.
