ok….so here’s deal

the race will be live with a split screen and splits

there will be 4 pace groups for the men

Group1

#70 will go 10km at 1.02 half split pace
#71 will go 21km at 1.02 half split pace
#72 will go 25km at 1.02 half split pace
#73-74-75 will go to 30km at 1.02 half pace

here are the bibs of the leading men….they went thru 1.02.06 in Rotterdam’10

02-Patrick Makau
03-Geoffrey Mutai
05-Eluid Kiptanui
06-Bazu Worku
07-Gilbert Yegon
08-Yemane Tsegay

Group 2

63.15…..with One TV truck and one tv motorcyle, doubtful if you will see this group during the race

Women

it should be between

F2-Bezuneh Bekele
F3-Aberu Kebede
F4-Tomo Morimoto

they will have a pace of 71 or so

Mockenhaupt will have a FOUR pacers at 72.30 pace

so TV has one motorcycle for the women, I think you won’t see Mockenhaupt unless, the motorcycle has to go back for German TV

the weather is expected to Rainy and 55F or so

Runblogrun will be updating on the real, Berlin LIVE, with splits, commentary in English, starting 1.30 am Central time Sunday morning.
