2022 Diamond League Final Recap, KENYANS CHEBET, KIMELI WIN DIAMOND LEAGUE FINAL 5000M

This writer has been to the Monaco DL on five different occasions, and one is always impressed with the vociferous crowd, the athletic performances, but also the atmosphere of this amazing European summer meet!

Among the amazing performances that happened on 10 August 2022 were the 200 meters for men and the  1500 meters for women.

In the furlong,  Noah Lyles won the 200m in 19.46, becoming the first man in history to run twice in one season under 19.50 seconds for 200 meters, and then, in the distances,  Faith Kipyegon barely missed the WR at the 1,500 meters, with her 3:50.37.

It is not as if these fans of the Herculis EBS meeting have not seen great performances before. Most years, the last hour of the meet is among the finest anywhere, any year!

We implore you to take the trip to Menton, France, stay at the Princesse et Richmond hotel, and take the bus drive to Monte Carlo, to experience the Monaco Diamond League Meeting. You will never forget how a track meet should be presented!
