Wesley Korir, the 2012 Boston Champion, is one of my favorite runners on the circuit. Genuine, thoughtful, with a keen sense of humor, I met Wesley early in his road racing career as he was managed by Karen Locke after her introduction.
Recently, Karen Locke reached out to me about the new movie on Wesley, that goes on sale October 10, 2014. The story is about Wesley Korir’s rise from abject poverty in Kenya, to Boston marathon victory, to his return to his homeland to give something back, and perhaps find something missing in him.
