Last year, I remember watching Geoffrey Kamworer run so well at the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships. His victory in the World Cross Country senior men’s 12k was no different on March 28.
It should be no surprise to see that Mr. Kamworer is focusing on the 10,000 meters. With his strength from the half marathon and gutty racing over 12 kilometers cross country, I can not wait to see how Geoffrey Kamworer races over 25 laps on the track.

Kamworor thinks 10 000 m
BEIJING (CHN): World Cross Country champion Geoffrey Kamworor aims to compete in the 10 000m at this year’s World Championships in Beijing, report IAAF. The 22 year old, who won the World half marathon crown last year, will run a 10 000m at the end of May before racing again over the distance at the Kenyan trials. He said that he will probably take four days of rest before gearing up for Beijing.
