Kipchoge would try again
MONZA (ITA): Eliud Kipchoge hasn’t ruled out another attempt at a sub-two hour marathon, informs the Daily Nation. “I have seen what seven months of training can do and I will sit down and reflect on what is next, obviously I have seen that the under two hours marathon is possible. I won’t mind trying it again because what is there for me in athletics? Chase targets. I now know I have 25 seconds between me and history,” he said. Kipchoge clocked 2:00:25 in Monza on Saturday.
RunBlogRun opines: The @breaking2 event was great television, great twitter and a testement to the will of Eliud Kipchoge. Personally, what makes it special is that if it is not done more than every couple of years. Fascinating event, one of the highest values ever for sports TV.
