Robbie Andrews is one of my favorite athletes. A young guy with talent who has overcome his challenges, and is racing at top form again. Andrews reminds me of Fermin Cacho, the surprise 1992 Olympic gold medalist at 1,500 meters. Andrews runs like a kid with street sense, with the proverbial eyes in the back of his head. When he wins the big one, people are going to go, “gosh, where did he come from?”. Well, watch this workout and, after the stomach distress, you will get it. Nothing comes easy in our sport. Years and years of work, and good days and absolute shit days. But, it is from the very bowels of distress that we find our real strength. Good days are great days when compared with the tough days.
Thanks, Robbie Andrews, for reminding us of the yin and the yang!
